I’m glad he had a few years of sobriety and clear thinking at the end. I remember seeing an interview after he got clean where he said something like, “I didn’t know how much people cared about me.”.

That was kinda brutal. For my money there wasn’t a better talent/charisma wrestler than Hall. Nash wouldn’t say it unless it’s inevitable, this is surely the end for Hall.

It sucks.
 


At about the :22 sec mark a beer hits Hall in the head.

The dude is so cool, he uses the beer to slick his hair back. Who does that? 999,999 out of a 1,000,000 guys immediately look around like they’ll find the guy and kill him for throwing it. Not him.

Wrestling is at its low point.

There are virtually no "stars" now that can even compare to those from 20 years ago.

Hell, 30 years now. You remember the Von Erichs and the Midnight Express?
 
I didn't know Wrestlemania was this weekend. I was flipping thru Peacock and saw that it was airing live at no additional cost.
