Test...

So I'm going shopping for a new car tomorrow. I remember a few DCC's ago there was a thread that talked about all the do's/don'ts of the process and the stuff to ask to be eliminated to get the best deal.

Anyone remember any of that stuff?

Get the Town and Country with the fold down seats.

See if you can get one of these:

Already have a Pacifica so I'm going more the sedan route this time.

I don't know what types of cars you are looking at but we have had two Nissan Maxima's and loved them. I have an Altima now to drive back and forth to work and its nice enough but the Maxima was pretty damn legit. Not one of the cheaper sedans but very nice and fun to drive. Its one of the better looking cars too, they seem to hold their value too, I've gotten pretty good deals when trading mine back in.

LT would drive a Lincoln. I did have him pictured for a mid 90's town car though.

We bought a Tahoe after we had the kid, I don't think I'll ever go back to anything smaller than that for a family vehicle. The car is good for me to drive everyday for the gas mileage, but we never take it when we are all together, unless my wife doesn't put gas in the Tahoe.

All my vehicles to this point have been for everyone but me. Next one is for me...it'll be about midlife crisis time by then, so probably IROC Z28.

I've been pushing for a new camaro but the wife ain't having that shit. She said we have what will soon be a giant kid and we need for doors. I say that's what the tahoe is for. Eventually I'll win because I won't give up but it's gonna take a while.

I can't sleep mother effer on that yak and that bourbon, doin 120 down the street while I'm swervin

Well you don't just quit message boards. It's in our blood. Especially after all these years.

He was a big old fat guy, right? I bet he's at the bottom of a well in someone's basement putting the lotion on its skin or it gets the hose again.

Someone needs to check in at Big Irv's house then.

When I was a kid my cousin had a late 60s Firebird...not sure what year, but I just remember how awesome it was in all its primered glory. We listened to Holy Diver in it...so it was legit.
