Not to belabor the point but this is a good example of why batting average is retarded.

Henderson in this game got on 4 times and scored 4 times, but because each plate appearance was a walk his batting average is .000 and if you went by his batting average it looks like he didn't do anything.

Meanwhile his OBP was 1.000 which is a much better reflection of the game he had.

Yeah truthfully I don't have a problem at all with Verlander I just thought it would be funny to say Feh randomly at an otherwise feel good post.

(I don't care for Houston Verlander if I'm being honest.)

How many times does a game like that happen? Sure… great example for your argument but that is a one in a million game.

Nobody is saying that the stats you’re arguing are not important. Only that BA is more important than you are claiming.
