I wanted him, I wanted Jacob Rodriguez, and I wanted Trotter. All three guys have gotten off to great starts in the NFL. The one guy I wasn't actually as high on as some or most is CJ Allen. Who coincidently didn't play a snap in week 1. Now I'm not going to throw dirt on the guy yet but that was the one I was kind of meh on despite some saying he should go in the first round.

Josiah Trotter by the way had an INT and a sack I believe in week 1 for the Bucs.

This is true. But it's new players and an all new defensive coaching staff. So not exactly a ton of ties to last year.
 
No, don't think so.

I don't see it as a problem, though. Barham looks upset that he fricked up, which is fine. Better than some of the yahoos we've had who didn't seem to care.

To me, this is just football.

Holy shit.

This does not look good at all..... For either of them.

This is starting to feel like a season that's just destined to end in disaster and ultimately results in us having to completely rebuild the entire coaching staff in the off-season.

On one hand, you've got a guy in Barham who clearly is tuning out his coach.

Barham isn't some 10 year vet, he's a rookie FFS! And I don't know what mistakes he made in that game, but what I did see on that last scoring drive was his lackadaisical effort and that is totally unacceptable.

So if he can't take criticism for that piss-poor effort he gave, (assuming that's what they were talking about) then that's a red flag about him.

And what does it say about Parker that he can't even command the respect of a rookie linebacker?

This to me looks bad all around.
 
This can happen when things go bad. I don't think he was refusing coaching, I think he knew he'd screwed up and was upset at himself.

If he were some type of Jaydon Blue knucklehead with a bad attitude, that would be a problem... but if that were the case, I think we'd have heard about it by now like we did with Blue.

I agree that it looks kind of bad, but I wouldn't say alarming.
