Who is out there?
Chuma. Jumbo package.
Who is out there?
I am not going to pretend there is some solution out there. We made our bed in the draft and inability to scratch up a trade candidate.Who is out there?
It's mostly that I wouldn't have anyone stupid enough to drop the ball before the goalline like that. I mean we've only seen that 20 times or so the last several years, and every time the player gets called out by everyone. So how can you still be dumb enough to do it?Yeah I'm surprised there's so much negativity surrounding this signing. I think he looks plenty good enough as a backup.

You will get Wanya and like it!
He's a lunkhead, but what are the odds he does that twice? Nor is it likely he'll see significant playing time. It's mostly that I wouldn't have anyone stupid enough to drop the ball before the goalline like that. We could get them both and when they both come in it could be the Chumbawanya package.
I get knocked down but I get back up again
As a RB?

Just realized this.. remember when Gannon got all kinds of shit for screaming at and bumping into his player on the sideline? Pretty much led to his downfall. Demercado was that player and that was the play.![]()

He held onto this one.

Shit, our special teams coordinator better have something special brewing this year.
Exactly. He’s a ‘break glass only in emergency’ guy. He could step in, give a few carries if need be, and not fuck up the blocking schemes. If we are long term needing a reliable runner, we’re fucked any way.He averages 6+ YPC on 40 rushes a season, obviously miniscule volume but it's debatable whether Blue will ever manage to do that.
The big key is he can block, the guy won't ever play unless there's an injury, but at least in an emergency you can rely on him to be passable as a blocker in tandem with Davis.
And I'd guess if something happens to Williams we'll try to trade for an actual RB, this is just churning the last few roster spots with a guy who is right now better than what they had.
