This stuff is an institutional problem at least as much as it is an individual problem.

Organizations like USA Today, ESPN, SI, and Yahoo tacitly endorse these radical views that are anathema to both the principles of the country but also common sense simply by allowing these off the rails opinions to be published and broadcast by their companies.

I don't know what to do about it but it's like almost all of our institutions have been captured by radical ideologies that don't reflect the bulk of the citizens at large.

For my part I don't consume this garbage if I can help it. But not enough people do that, and even when they do (like with Bud Light for example), companies will put out fires if it affects them but otherwise will double down afterwards.

It's unfortunate that we live in a society today that the only way to get attention is to act this way. People's attention span is too short. You have to make ridiculous claims to even read their shit. Let's be honest, if the lady wrote a nice article about Clark and her positive impact on the WNBA basically no one would read it. So you write drivel like this because you know it will get attention. Even if the attention is at the cost of thinking the writer belongs in a loony bin.

So, I got called a racist by an older Asian woman yesterday. While at work. While trying to help her. According to her, white people don't like helping Asian people and I was an idiot for not "understanding her accent". :shrug
