So this Moose Johnston video is AI?
Landry was definitely, and closely, involved. So many times he'd jump in a help directly coach the defense, especially during the extra days after Thanksgiving.DFDC![]()
I was such an optimist!
He was crazy good in Jimmy's system, but just not young enough to hang in for the real talent to arrive, especially after that brutal degree of contact.Honestly, I wouldn't have remembered him even playing for Jimmy. /badfan
But looking at it, he started every game from 89-90.
And Jimmy was obsessed with speed, and I never thought of Lockhart as fast.He was crazy good in Jimmy's system, but just not young enough to hang in for the real talent to arrive, especially after that brutal degree of contact.
He was probably one of the better players from that awful team.I actually thought they had something in Paul Palmer after that game

My friend blocked for him in high school and was hyping him up so much. Just too small for the NFL and not the elite speed to compensate.I loved Palmer as a Temple fan and really thought we had something with him also.
Dean Hamel.I bought a bunch of team news releases and press box notes from that season, pretty interesting to see how they hyped up players like Dean Hamel and Willie Broughton, among other scrubs.
