War With Iran



I'm a Trump supporter. I think he has done some really good things for my country. But, he needs to shit or get off the pot here. Dragging this shit on does nobody any good.

I agree completely. IF we are going to do it, then get it done, kill the entire lot of their current government, and let the people elect who they want.

Wow, that's about as angry as I've ever seen Trump.

The problem is, they aren't a country like we think of most countries. They still have different factions and tribes, like apparently the ones on the Strait, that don't answer to anyone and no one can speak for them in negotiations.

We're probably going to lose the midterms anyway so at this point I'm all for just destroying them.

I think Trump overestimated his ability to negotiate with them. He always thinks he can get a deal done but these people would never honor any agreement. They know if they can prolong it, they can piss of the American public enough to make the war even more unpopular than it already is. At this point, they're trying to make sure no one tries it again for a while. Americans have a very low frustration threshold for this type of shit. I'm almost positive this is why no one's attempted it until now.

You can't negotiate with people like that. They don't deal in normal logic. Hell they aren't even capable of acting well behaved long enough for Trump to move on. And yet we have the capability to decimate everything. At some point you are just going to have to level everything near the Strait and move on. How they are still causing any type of problem there is beyond me.

I'm far from an expert to be sure, but apparently the ones in the Strait are these very tough, hardened mountain men types who for generations won't be told what to do. And the terrain is very rough almost like in Afghanistan.

But you might have to take them out no matter what, because you can't let them control the world's oil supply and economy.
