Lol it always has to be a circus with these guys. Bill Clinton stumbling in. We’re bad at negotiating so we won’t talk to Pickens anymore about a deal because he was mean to us. If you’re going to go that route, shut the fuck up and trade him.

If any of us were running this team we would be accidentally more successful than these inept fools.

It’s like they act normal for a little bit and draw you in, and them bam… more stupidity.

First they start the conference with some yuck yuck announcement about how nothing we say can be counted on for true, it's draft season.

They follow it with Bill fucking Clinton stumbling and falling into the room and Jerry talking about Bill for the next however long.

Then they randomly drop a bombshell about Pickens and not negotiating with him at all, and try to brush it off as "We have had other guys play under the franchise tag." And then proceed to basically make it sound like they are a parent to a child dangling a carrot with some bullshit about how they just haven't known him long enough. It's the string along shit they did with Dak, "we just need to see more."

And then oh yeah, you throw out the drafting Lamb while having a pretty good WR corp. I guess we can all look forward to them dumping Pickens a year from now for a fucking fifth round pick like complete idiots.

I honestly got nothing useful from the press conference and ended up more annoyed than anything.

Yes it is annoying. Because either they’re completely moronic (they are) or they think we are morons and believe the lies and misrepresentations they are shoveling to us. (They do) …Oh yeah and Jerry almost fell off the stage too. What are we doing?!

The Bill Clinton thing thrown in the middle is crazy to me. Like what a fucking circus. Absolutely nothing to do with football or the draft. And Clinton is either senile, drunk or both. I mean the guy isn't coherent.

The feeling I got from the press conference is that we are a lot more likely to trade back than up. I'd even say it's very likely we trade back. Especially with the comment about really wanting more picks on day 2. Now maybe that was just there way of throwing chum in the water. And coming from Jerry, I'd say that's true. But Stephen he isn't that coy. He just sort of comes right out and says stuff. Just like the Pickens thing. Which I feel like he immediately regretted when all the questions about Pickens started coming fast and he has no idea how to answer them. I'm surprised Jerry didn't break in at that point with some story about renting a car in 1963 from a man who had a basset hound named Jack.
