Couldn't believe Stephen said so emphatically that they wouldn't even talk to Pickens' people about an extension.

Is this another wasted season already? Because you can see the holdout and training camp drama coming from a mile away.
 
It's so funny. They threw a fucking grenade into the conference regarding Pickens and then got frustrated that of course everyone is focused on that.

So they called on some chick to ask a ridiculous softball question ("Schotty, how are you feeling going into your second draft?")

Now I kind of hope they have a trade in the works and we do take a WR high.

If he's definitely leaving next year, just get it over with and take his replacement now.

Nobody is going to want to give up a high pick and a big extension to a guy who is a known nut ball.

I'm guessing they think they have a bunch of leverage over him for that reason.

I'm not saying a top of the draft pick, just something reasonable.

Surely a Buffalo or team like that with a QB but no WR would give something decent for him.
