Random Politics Stuff Thread...

Of course. In a state that's pretty split, maybe slightly blue, Spanberger and Co are making the congressional seats over 90% Dem.
I doubt most of Virginians know this is happening to answer your question, but surely there is enough to know to sue and take this to the SCOTUS. Or at least the SC in VA.

I don't think they can do much about it if the people vote for it.

Wondering what @Irving Cowboy and others think about this.

Wonder if Virginians even realize what the Dems are trying to do. Of course the Dems aren't showing the maps of what they'll do.

I mean, North Carolina did the same thing but for Republicans.

It’s how we got school choice passed. Republican supermajority able to override the commie governor’s veto.

Now my kids get vouchers for private school which is worthwhile because the public schools are woke as fuck.

What is even whackier is that these Dems won a shitload of elections here in 2024. Why the fuck would they want to push this?
To guarantee their future. Why take a chance?

I don't understand this. I mean, clearly it's to shove it in Alex Jones's face as "punishment," for his egregious speech (though the damages entered by the court are clearly ridiculous).

But how exactly is the Onion planning on making this profitable? They already have an Onion website/publication. None of Jones's followers will go to Infowars anymore now that the Onion owns it with the intent to mock them. What's the end game? Flaunting their mockery I guess.

I still don't understand how that judgement could stand.
