Prospects Dallas Has Shown Interest In - 2026

Sure, in the 3rd.

I'm more a fourth or fifth. The third is too rich in my opinion. Funny I actually saw him referred to as slow-twitch. Not exactly what you want to hear about a player.

With that being said he is a nice fit as a 3-4 end in this scheme. He is strong, can shed and make the tackle and plays with good energy.

Zach Allen type player.

Overton is a good player, but maybe 15th-20th best (depending on the evaluator) edge rusher in this deep draft.

He isn't really an edge rusher. He is maybe an edge rusher in the sense that Faulk is an edge rusher. He is a 3-4 DE that will maybe give you 4 or 5 sacks a season.

You don’t know that. This is about projection and development. So many EDGE rushers emerge after the drafts first three rounds, and this is a deep EDGE draft.

The closest thing to a sure thing at the position is Bailey, and even he might not produce day one. Getting pass rush help from the draft is a slow burn, unlike CB.

He might be better than Faulk if you offset the cost of the draft capital.

Per Schefter…

Ole Miss receiver De'Zhaun Stribling has also been busy traveling. He wrapped up his eight total visits last week in Philadelphia, New England and Chicago. He also had private workouts with Dallas and New Orleans. Stribling had back-to-back 800-yard receiving seasons and ran a 4.36-second 40 that has generated attention.

Certainly an interesting WR prospect. I don't think this team goes WR in the first but I do think they are considering it at some point in this draft. My guess is the Pickens situation at least has them thinking they may need a backup plan.
