You guys see Jose Altuve's baserunning highlight from last night? First, he was stealing 2nd and there was an errant throw so he took 3rd on the error. Then, the home plate umpire sent him back to first, citing umpire interference. Replays showed the catcher hitting the ump's mask when making the throw. So, Altuve goes back to first and starts dancing around like a clown, like he's just gonna steal 2nd again.

Then promptly gets picked off. Dude caught so bad, he didn't even try to get back to the bag. Just stood there and let the 1st baseman tag him. :lol

Gore is pitching tonight against the A's. I hope he can continue his solid showing to start the year. If we can get him and Leiter to fill that 2 and 3 spot in the starting rotation and DeGrom stays healthy, we will have a pretty damn decent rotation. Our bullpen has been really good, and I think the bats will take off. If we get our starting rotation just to solid we will have a pretty good year this year, I think.

The bats will take off on the road. They designed their home field to be a pitchers park. I forget who but someone showed an in depth view or at least explained how they changed the airflow when they built this stadium. Hitting at home seems to be a problem now for them. At the very least they haven't found enough players to hit well there.
