Researchers documented the Ngogo chimpanzee community of about 200 splitting into rival factions around 2015-2018, resulting in lethal violence including at least 24 killings since 2018, mostly infants, in a rare fission event.

The post's image shows chimps with dogs in a forest scene that appears manipulated or AI-generated, as scientific reports from BBC, Scientific American, and others confirm no such dog participation."
