I think it just means there are alot of round 1 names to come in the next week or so, but I definitely think they're thinking hard about moving up.
 


Did you have any formal interviews at the NFL Combine? Who are some of the teams you've met with on Zoom or in person?

Avery Smith: I’ve met with a bunch of teams virtually. I met with the New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys, and New Orleans Saints in person at pro day. Recently, I met with the Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Cleveland Browns on Zoom, to name a few. I’ve probably met with 15 teams. I have more meetings coming up.

And they have both been in the league multiple years on multiple teams and haven't really shown anything. I'd have no problem churning them to the curb if a decent late round/UDFA were available. But I'm not interested in taking one until the 5th or later as of now. Maybe in the next couple years look to take one higher to develop for a year or two while Dak plays out the string.

Oh, I don't mind it in the right situation but I'm surprised they'd be looking.

Dallas Day visits. Not surprising at all. They are like free 30 visits. So if there are local guys that qualify and are draftable players, might as well bring them in. I'm sure both QBs will be long gone by the time we would ever consider one.

And in all honesty with Green, he is just a great athlete. I doubt he makes it as a QB but I'm sure some NFL teams will see a guy they could get creative with at 6'6" with 4.36 speed.

He would be a better Jalen Hurts for Philly...
