2026 NFL Cuts/Signings/Trades/FA Thread

We barely knew ye.

If he's getting called J-Rod I'm out.
We have already had a DLaw. Time for some new blood and a new nickname.

In all seriousness I don't give a damn what he is called as long as he ends up with a star on his helmet.

Dream draft:

We add J-Rod and M-Law.

Hell yeah, it's just about time for HotBoyz 2.0.

Rodriguez
Hill
Allen
Golday
Trotter

That's my current order subject to change at any minute they are so close. Which again is why I wouldn't take one at 20. They all have different flavors to them.

I'd put Louis ahead of Trotter.

I'd put Louis ahead of Trotter.

So Louis is a tough one the same way that Perkins is kind of hard for me. Louis is 220 pounds. In a normal 4-3 defense I'd be looking at the guy as a weakside LBer. The typical backside, undersized LBer who can fly. Basically the Dexter Coakley position before it became cool all over the NFL.

I'm just not sure if he fits in the 3-4. And I really don't think he fits next to Overshown. Dude is an awesome athlete though and great player. I've seen some even listing him as a safety. I don't put him up there with Trotter only because I view him more as a backup, "chess piece" type player and less of a starting LBer next to Overshown. I think Trotter could step in day one and be perfect next to Overshown. Just a really great run defender but probably a work in progress in coverage. And in most passing situations we probably are rolling with Overshown and an assortment of DBs and pass rushers.

Here is a fun one, Louis and Trotter both. They would be a perfect pairing to have at LBer.

And honestly when I watch Trotter and I watch CJ Allen, I'm not sure I really see the difference. Except Trotter is making more tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Also fun fact, Trotter is only 20 years old. Not meant as some offense to CJ Allen. And I think there is leadership and crazy intelligence stuff with CJ Allen I'm just not getting. But on the surface just watching the players? I don't see the gap.

Crazy how all the players in this draft either feel super old, 24/25 or super young 20/21.

You are almost an honorary Raider champion. You would get full benefits (not from me) if you would have left off the not taking one at 20.
