I guess the unsure emoji was too much too grasp. I thought it was pretty obvious I was joking.Well it went over like most of your jokes.
Now official:
It was for 2.5 mill.I wonder how much and if he was cheaper than Hennessy.
But but who will be our Enforcer?Hennessy was cheaper. That makes sense then.
I think we could have gotten Pickens for around 32 per, but now it is most likely going to be closer to 36-38 per.Great. Let's keep waiting until even more WRs reset the market so it makes our WR more and more expensive. It's worked so well in the past.

We don't know that though. Mulughetta could have anticipated this -- probably did -- and was asking something stupid, even closer to 40.I think we could have gotten Pickens for around 32 per, but now it is most likely going to be closer to 36-38 per.

If the agents knew this was coming, you would have to assume the owners knew the same thing. And, if that was the case (of course no way for us to know) then Jerry and Co should have gotten ahead of it.These agents all collude to keep pushing the price up, there's no chance other top agents didn't have an idea something like this was coming. Maybe not the exact numbers but I'm sure they knew something would happen soon in the 40ish range.

No way to know for sure, but another WR signing for 42 per certainly didn't help things.I think the whole racket would rely on keeping the owners out of the loop.
But yea, maybe Pickens' agent already was along for 35+ for all we know.
You mean it's possible to be proactive instead of waiting 'til the last minute and creating a lot of drama and animosity? No way to know for sure, but another WR signing for 42 per certainly didn't help things.
Yeah but think of all the headlines and media content Pickens contract situation will generate for the Cowboys in August. That's got to mean something, right?Great. Let's keep waiting until even more WRs reset the market so it makes our WR more and more expensive. It's worked so well in the past.
