I'm so glad that Maxx Crosby thing is over.

It is insane to me that anybody would give up two firsts for him.

The ONLY way that is justifiable is if you're literally just an elite pass rusher away from being a SB team.

And the Ravens are more pieces away than that.

Now go sign Hendrickson. Hopefully being 31 makes it to where he doesn't break the bank.

The most interesting thing to me is they're willing to part with Osa. They've always talked up how good he is. Who even plays DE if they had traded him? And could he still be offered for someone else or to move up in the draft?

I wonder if they knew they might use him in a trade negotiation so they have been talking him up to made him look better to other teams. But, I'm with you. If that's their plan, who takes his place and why self-inflict yet another need on a defense that already needs so many holes filled?

Could be that they don't think Osa is a good fit for the new defense. Could be they thought Max would play DE in this 3-4 hybrid scheme. Or the rumor just isn't true. Not sure what the cap hit would have been to trade Osa but part of me thinks we would have had to eat money.

It absolutely is and maybe it will show Aubrey and his agent that Aubrey really isn't so far and away better than everyone else when no one comes calling. Or if they do come calling, cool, I'll take a second round pick and find a kicker.
