This is true. You can pay a first and money for Crosby or you can just pay Hendrickson. Why sacrifice basically two potentially elite defensive starters for Crosby?

But I prefer younger and more upside in free agency. I think Mafe for example would thrive here as a free agent.

Don't get me wrong I think he sucks but teams usually give QBs more time. Then again Indy gave up on Richardson pretty quickly as did SF with Lance. Maybe it's the new reality.
