Gork is pretty funny. I didn't know about it until today. Or I memory-holed it.

 


That woman's voice makes me want to hurt something.
 


I heard him say this on Joe Rogan's show one day. I'm not sure how this would work and not devolve into socialism. Maybe I'm too dumb to understand it, but I can't see the difference in this and what we are seeing in countries that have tried socialism in the past. If someone can explain the difference, please do.
 
You aren't wrong. I couldn't believe he said this either.

I also don't see how he doesn't see how inflationary this would be. Money in the end is supposed to have value because it represents something, well, of value, whether that be a good you owned and sold or a service you provided. If you give it away to people for doing nothing, it has to lose value.

I thought maybe I was missing something. But, this can't be the solution to AI taking jobs. It just can't. I'm not sure what the answer is, but that ain't it.
