I wouldn't be surprised at all if that was some of the thinking, especially this year when week 1 will arguably be our toughest game of the year plus all the Parsons nonsense.

The fascination with signing RBs who have regressed to less than 4 ypc is fucking nuts.

I'm guessing Maf turns out to be a 4 ypc plodder and Blue is a guy who will have a nice average, but in reality, he'll be a guy who gets nothing but 1 or 2 ypc mixed in with a few long bursts. Just a guess.

Blue might not be built for the NFL. He's going to have to get about ten times tougher and learn to protect himself.

He has the speed thank God, and the wiggle, so there's hope, but this game is brutal (even today).

Weird how RBs don't hold up these days.

Very few average 20 carries per game now.
 
The clear strength of this RB group is catching the ball, and hopefully we're smart enough to utilize that.

Blue and Williams can be pretty good weapons catching the ball.

Heck, even Vaughn could get some use out of the backfield in space.
 
No sacks so far unless you want to count the one by some dude called Dezel Daxon.

Might be Blue's best skill, he can catch a ball like a WR. And his speed allows him to take off after catching it.

I have been watching them for 40 years, and I have gotten to my true breaking point. That's where "Let the bullshit continue" came from. I guess Jerry has finally worn me down.

I would at least wait until a few games into the real season. I mean, literally none of our best players are playing.

Philly will probably throttle us that first game like they would most of the league, because they're just better. But after that we should get a decent gauge.
