One interesting thing I saw from the uncut video posted on the team site is that Nathan Thomas was getting a good number of reps at LT. That's probably a good sign that he's going to make the team and they're trying to figure out how much versatility he truly has.

Guyton also got beat like a drum a few times and looked exactly like he did last year when he struggled, losing clean on an inside move against Williams I think. There's still a long way to go but if he's making the same mistakes in week 4, week 6, and so forth they're going to need to make a tough decision.

I agree on Kneeland, I've been bullish on him since we drafted him and remain so. Last year was a wash with all the nuttiness to start the year defensively and the injury that he had, but I could easily see him starting because we need some bulk on the edge.

Parsons, Fowler and Eze are all better speed rushers, but who do we have on the edge with Kneeland's size who can give you an average to above average pass rush?

Nobody.

BS brought him up unprompted as "a guy to look out for."

On Fergy, BS said last year he banged his knee up pretty good in the first game against Cleveland.

Did we know that at the time? I don't remember that, but maybe we did. Could explain why he was off even before the concussion.

I think he left the game, it was pretty late and it wasn't especially close, but I remember him leaving. I think he took a helmet to the knee or some such.

Pretty decent PC, 10x better than that Jerry fiasco.

Secretly rooting.

After that one play, Winfrey sure looks the part. Wish he'd get his head on straight enough to make it because he'd be good depth.

If there is one thing I feel about Schottenheimer’s kid is that he is genuine and appears to have the ability to be transparent to his players. High EQ is a big deal to the yutes.

That is a departure from our last two HCs.
