didn't Emmitt have a shitload of carries in HS and college?
Just looked at the current draft order. We could realistically end up at 20, for absolutely nothing.
Somehow I feel like Graham is that kind of player who falls after the season and people find ways to put his competitors ahead of him, but still ends up being the best player. (Unless he somehow tests great.)I assume McMillan will be gone but if he's there throw him in the mix too, and if Graham is there he's the no-brainer option although I think Harmon is closing on him in my mind.

That's exactly what it is.I think sometimes guys get hyped for so long and are so steady that people get bored with them and start poking nitpicky holes.
That's exactly what it is.
That and in the cottage industry that is draft coverage, the "gurus" need some hook to sell people their product, so they shuffle people around. They can't very well say, "I've watched all the tape and decided on these guys" and not change leading up to the draft, because that wouldn't generate new interest/clicks/sales.
Yea it's a joke, I'll have my mind more or less made up on the top guys in our range by the end of the college season. There will be slight shifts based on the Senior Bowl, combine, what we do in FA (lol), etc., but for the most part I'll have my mind made up.
The only thing that really changes things is when I go back and watch a player in March that I didn't pay much attention to all year.
I didn't mention O-line. I wouldn't be opposed to it but I don't love the top of this OT class. The Texas kids and Will Campbell feel overrated to me. If I was in the back half of the first, I'd be on it. But I'm not sure any of the O-lineman stick out to me as the type I can say put at LT and forget it. I'd just keep working on Guyton and Asim and see where it goes. Maybe my opinion on the OT's will change as we get a little further along. Again, I'm not opposed to a guy who is a badass RT or LT. Or maybe even one that can shift inside to RG and replace Martin. But I don't know that I feel that way about Will Campbell for example. But if we have a Zach Martin type grade on him, go for it.
Banks got lucky Saturday night. Just an ankle injury but could have been a knee.
I think Broaddus is not a fan of Campbell and he is a huge LSU homer. Think he mentioned too inconsistent.

I wouldn't consider OL in the first, not necessarily because of the positional value and our roster but I just don't love the top OL prospects relative to what should be available at other positions.
I might consider Banks to some extent but it'd take a really strange scenario to play out for me to really seriously consider OL as a top option.
This is kind of how I feel. I just don't love these O-lineman for a top 15 pick. Not that they are terrible. It just wouldn't feel like good value. Would instead feel like we are drafting someone that we could have gotten most years picking in the 20s.
