I have watched him, but it's nice to get confirmation. I don't watch every Michigan game so sometimes you questions the consistency for example because the 3 or 4 games you watch may be different than the others. But mostly I was just trying to point out just how different he is than Mazi so that maybe the feeling of another Michigan bust could be shook with this one.

I wouldn't be surprised if he plays corner and has spot duty at WR. Not much different than Deion did. He was really just an elite corner but every once in awhile they stuck him out their on offense.

But ultimately he is going to play one or the other. And frankly I have a hard time believing a full time receiver is going to really play any defense. Just not sure I've ever seen that with any sort of regularity.
 
Hunter will be a CB who lines up at WR from time to time, but he can't go both ways all game.
 
I've been trying to come up with a comparison for Hunter as a WR and I think it's Garrett Wilson.

I'll be curious to see if he runs faster than Wilson's 4.38, but I think they're very similar in terms of the slight frames, ridiculous ball skills/tracking down field, contested catch ability despite only average size and being able to take a 10 yard catch for 50 due to their explosiveness.

I think he'll do some double duty but he definitely won't last playing full time on both sides of the ball.

He's going to find out real quick the speed and physicality in the NFL are completely different animals than in the NCAA.
 
JFC, how hard is it to figure out though? He's a stud and rushers always go high. Even Joe Fan should get this one.

I guess, but how are the mocks so far off? You don't even have to scout hard to see how good Carter is. It's obvious.

RB - Omarion Hampton, Kaleb Johnson, Dylan Sampson, Jarquez Hunter, Tahj Brooks, DJ Giddens (and there are more but that's off the top of my head).

DT - Kenneth Grant, Walter Nolan, Derrick Harmon, Tyleik Williams, TJ Sanders, Deone Walker, Shemar Hunter, CJ West, Dontay Corleone

They're arguably the two deepest positions in the class, so it'd be nice if we did a single fucking thing of consequence in FA so we can be patient about it.

Rbs: Kaleb Johnson from Iowa, NC RB Hampton. Giddens from K State, Gordon from Ok State and a bunch others. Pretty loaded at RB
