Boxing Thread

I’m glad Tyson didn’t get hurt. His pride should be destroyed.

Paul should be banished from the sport for good. This was the worst thing I’ve ever witnessed. The Tyson that got in the ring with Roy Jones 4 years ago would have put Paul to sleep. Tyson was either hurt badly, or he’s just 58 and has no legs. I never saw him throw his right hand either, which was weird.
 
Watched it this morning. Hated myself as I was watching it. What a sham.

To what @Sheik said, Tyson had his classic setup of moving forward, cutting off the corner, and was perfectly positioned to unleash a combo and he just let Paul go without even throwing anything. Very suspicious.

Wouldn't be surprised if they had money on the over on the rounds. The whole thing seemed like a joke. Paul is obviously not a real fighter but Mike didn't even throw punches.

Was glad people were booing at the end. Perfect that Jerry's Mall was the setting for this shitshow.

From what I can tell it was more an exhibition fight than an actual boxing match.
 


I would have lost my shit if the stream did not buffer during this.
 
Tyson did not land a punch in the 4th or 6th rounds.

I agreed with the one judge who had it 6-2 for Paul, but no way did Paul win the first two rounds as the other 2 judges said.

The women put on the best show of the night, but Serrano got robbed.
 
I’m 2 years younger than Tyson. After watching him prepare for this fight I started thinking hey, it’s not too late for me… then I watched him last night.

I’m rethinking my plan now.

He wasn't moving anything like he had in training. I don't know what the deal was. It could have just been a sham, because it's not like Paul was at all impressive. Tyson wasn't even trying to hit him.
 
An absolute shit show. Tyson gassed after about two 2 minute rounds, carried the rest of the way. Garbage.
 
I didn't even bother for 1 second. I'm not sure what anyone was expecting that they are surprised it was a shit show.
