I think there's a chance he could come back before the season ends but when we're sitting at probably about 4-10 there will be no point.

Flashback to Romo’s Thanksgiving return and throwing multiple INTs before getting re-injured for good

That sucked

But, that injury to end 2015 season led to the Jones’ drafting their first QB since Stephen McGee with Prescott in the 4th round………..a 4th rounder we don’t have anymore. :budd

Finish the story... How did it go when Romo was knocking the rust off in the 2016 pre-season?

Romo looked really rusty, and I’d also challenge his conditioning on his return

There's no scenario where rushing Dak makes any sense to begin with. Either we go on a bit of a run and you just let it roll for a bit, or we end up 3-9 and are tanking for Mason Graham.

So yea, sit him until 2025.

Top 10 slot. Goddamn that 4th rounder we gave up is gonna eat at us until the end of time.

I wonder if the Panthers convinced Jerruh it was gonna be a late 4th because he did such a good roster GM’ng job, Cowboys will still be in playoff hunt this season for sure

McAfee and crew savaging Mingo trade. :lol

Yeah, I liked Mingo in the draft. Kind of a Deebo Samuel type. I thought he would be a nice pick in the third round at WR. I thought he was a reach in the second round, especially high second round.

But I'm not as high on him now knowing that the Panthers didn't see him valuable enough to keep for the next QB. I wouldn't expect him to produce big with their shit QB situation but I'd expect the Panthers to at least like the guy if he looked promising. The fact that they dumped him for a fourth despite having 2 more years on his rookie deal tells me a lot about what they thought.

These guys don’t know how to play 4D chess like Jerry though.
Exactly!

Whatever the injury, let it not diminish the fact that we STILL have the highest paid QB in the league.

Why does Steele have a job for that matter? At least Guyton has the excuse of being a rookie.
Steele, 27, signed a five-year, $86.8 million contract extension with the Cowboys in September 2023, which included $50 million guaranteed.

===============

So you've got one of the highest paid RTs in the game.

Don't tell me this roster isn't talented!

Kellen Moore press conference with Jerruh saying this makes amends for one of his biggest regrets in letting him go in the first place.
