Think Booze is right that when they hit they hit big but they don't hit as often as we think.

If you wanted to tank for sure, that would be the ticket. I'm afraid Lance would be Laufenberger bad.
 
As for our drafting prowess, you can certainly nitpick if you want, but we've been mostly contenders over the past decade, and it's not due to our free agent signings.

That's the real issue, if we did literally anything of note in free agency it wouldn't be an issue when we go a draft class without finding a Pro Bowler or two.
