They are both assholes.

The Cowboys should have urgency to get it done. They should stop being cheap and pay their players what it takes.

But ceedee should be in camp and playing out his contract. It's bullshit that he's not.

Yea but Stephen/Jerry are the bigger assholes, it's pretty clear exactly what sort of deal Lamb should be getting and these dumbasses are out here trying to sell them on no state income tax for a few years.

Not bullshit. Guaranteed money is all that counts. He has vastly outplayed his rookie contract and should get market value while healthy. Owners hold most of the cards when it comes to contracts in NFL.

It's bullshit because he's under contract. The whole holdout culture is bullshit and it only hurts the team and the player, as evidenced by Martin's bullshit holdout last year.

Also he hasn't outplayed his rookie contract, this is what is expected of a mid first rounder. It's why he was drafted in the first round and got first round money.

All that said, yes he should be extended already and the team is being very dumb and cheap. Fuck them very much too.

The Jones' have vastly overcompensated when it comes to contracts. They used to give in to those they shouldn't have like Zeke. Now I don't know what the fuck their philosophy is when it comes to paying players.
 
The best part of all of this is that they let a bunch of good, but ultimately replaceable players walk in FA, while of course not doing dick themselves, specifically so they can resign guys like Lamb and Parsons.

I get not doing Parsons yet (although they'd be smart to if he'd do about 35/year), and I definitely get waiting on Prescott and potentially letting him walk, but there's just no scenario where it makes sense to wait on Lamb and here we are with these fart-sniffing morons doing the same dumb shit over and over again.

There is no way any agent worth a fuck would let a 135 catch 1800 yard double digit TD WR play without a market value extension.
