I don't even think it was that bad. He's just saying maybe there's times to put in extra work if things aren't going well. Yeah Micah's response was pretty immature.

I thought Malik was way harsher on Quinn, who he even said he loves. It's just his opinion and there's nothing wrong with that.

Micah needs much thicker skin. If you want to be at a Lawrence Taylor level, that comes with a shit ton more scrutiny and criticism than normal. Deal with it.

you might tolerate the off field more with some crunch time/clutch delivery.

They can't be criticized for anything. Hell, you can't even give them constructive feedback without them feeling attacked.

I hate to say it, but that's just the way of the world now.

I agree, but I don't see why it would have to translate into fewer turnovers to be disciplined.

It’s hard to explain exactly, but I feel like a lot of turnover generation comes from creating a kind of organized chaos and even occasional freelancing, and that’s probably not conducive to strong discipline.

You might be able to have it all, both disciplined gaps, routes, and zones and high turnovers like the Cowboys of the 70’s, but the kind of all-timer talent it takes to make work is hard to gather and build over years today.
 
I thought someone said "Dov Kleiman" was just an aggregator...
