That is real, right? The Mavs have nothing to do with the Cowboys. As widespread as Cowboys fandom is, I doubt a quarter of Cowboys fans are Mavs fans.

Yeah, I'd guess there's somewhere around twice as many cowboys fans as Mavericks fans in the country .

Nope. That's absurd. The Mavericks are are actually in the finals this year and on top of that have won a championship in this century. We have accomplished neither in nearly 30 years.

That's definitely true but Doncic has to grow up, and also improve his conditioning, if he wants to win a title or two.

His conditioning needs improvement but I think the main thing that slowing him up now are all the injuries.

One other thing that needs to be removed from his game is all the falling down when he takes fade away jumpers. It looks like he's trying to sell that he was contacted on the shot. The end result is usually him sprawled out on the floor while the Celtics are sprinting the other way on an odd-man fast break. The instances at the top of the arc are especially bad because typically the guy taking that shot is responsible for getting back on defense to prevent fast break opportunities.

Kidd's message to him tonight should be: STAY. ON. YOUR. FEET.

I'm sure they've told him that, just like they've told him not to bitch at the officials so much. But you know how these NBA superstars are, you can't tell them anything they don't already want to hear.

Other than the pay, I would hate to be an NBA coach. You're as much (or more) a coddler and babysitter as you are a coach.

I don't think Luka should be criticized so much. I think Kyrie should be taking much more heat. Not to mention the Celtics players 3 through about 8 are simply better.

It's not like the Mavericks are underachieving.
