You can get players, and with the way the cap is growing by huge leaps each year now, you can just keep kicking the can down the road, cuz the can may have started the size of a football, but years later with big cap growth, it could be the size of a thimble.

Well yeah, inflation is working in their favor as far as that goes. Not just inflation of the game's popularity, which isn't that much, but now actual monetary inflation.

But you don't want to count on that continuing forever. (Hopefully it doesn't.)
