If Zimmer’s experience as a head coach was attractive to Fat Mike, why wouldn’t he at least suggest grabbing him? Make him passing game coordinator/AHC or something.

I mean it feels very weird that the guy is available now. Kind of screws the guy. He would have been a really attractive option as a Dcoordinator for a lot of teams. Instead dudes like Durde have Dcoordinator jobs and Wilks has to buy time for next year.
