This was after losing 44-6 following the 08 season.

"Where do we go from here?" Jones said, repeating the question. "Everyone, starting here, with me, goes to the woodshed. Everybody goes to the woodshed. Everyone."
Don’t need the woodshed. Need a dirtnap ASAP.

I think Holley is generally a blowhard, but he doesn't talk much here. And I know we're supposed to hate him for that '07 Giants game, but I always liked him and think he's very good telling stories here. Good stuff on the Parcells days and what practices were like, and on the Garrett-Wade dynamic (I haven't gotten to that point yet).

Hate who?

Crayton can pretty much put that loss on his shoulders with his lazy route running and assumption the ball wasn't coming to him.

And key, critical drop on what was likely a game-sealing drive in that game just as we were getting into a rhythm on offense. After that drop, the team lost its composure and Phil Pozderac's their way to a punt, which was shanked and returned for big yardage instead setting up the Giants go-ahead score.

Some folks have bad memories etched pretty damned firm in their minds, with impressive lucidity.

Couple things from the Crayton talk... Parcells worked them really hard. As one example, first day of camp, the first thing they did was live goalline. I seriously doubt Jerry would even let a coach do that anymore. (Not the goalline but the overall approach.)

Good Garrett stuff at 1:36. Crayton seems like a good dude and doesn't go crazy trashing him, but yeah, he says several times that Garrett was a proven liar and everyone knew it. Also, Crayton had a good point on a blitz adjustment, and an assistant coach said Garrett made the offensive coaches stay up there late at night just so Red could try to convince everyone it was his idea and concept. That's how big his ego was. Also, yeah, he definitely sabotaged Wade.

Wait a minute.... We host the Texans next year?

Why?

We just played them last season so why we are playing them again so soon?

Yeah I wouldn't want to either but I think the interesting takeaway here is it sounds like if Quinn gets hired elsewhere Harris wants to follow him.

Unless we made him DC I assumed he'd be gone either way, he's insinuated as much in the past about following Quinn.

I really don't care much because we're either making the NFCC next year or shits getting cleared out, so whatever.
