But the refs have been a lot better about catching those this year, and that one wasn't even disguised. Smith just ran right into Baker's chest.

No one adheres to the the cap anymore. Look at SF, Miami, Eagles, Ravens etc etc.

And what’s weird, after decades of bringing in high priced talent and splash players PT Barnum has gone into a shell and refuses to bring in proven vet talent that would probably push the Cowboys over the top.
They admit it, saying “their way” of drafting and filling holes in the roster with no name players (i.e. bottom feeders) -which is what they are no matter what they say- is the way to another SB. Obviously, it’s not. No talent at the NT position, terrible drafting to address it, RB position is a joke, nothing done to address it, LB issues nothing done to address it. No help for Parsons. Nothing done to address it.
And we’ve beat the issues to death around here. It’s not going to change. So, you watch the games and know it’s going to end badly at some point, every year, in the 1st/2nd round… Roster ages, rinse and repeat until one day you wake up and the window is closed. We are almost there.
