Here is some of the local Detroit coverage on yesterday’s finish. I thought this quote was interesting-

But the officials believed fellow offensive Dan Skipper was the one who reported as eligible, and threw the flag. This is an understandable(ish?) mistake. Skipper gets most of his playing time as a sixth offensive lineman, and often reports as eligible. What’s more, the Lions dressed up the play like it was business as usual to fool the Cowboys defense. Skipper ran onto the field waving one of his hands -- much like players do when reporting as eligible -- and headed toward the officials before rerouting toward the line of scrimmage.
