I don't see why they don't do the ceremonial things vs bad teams. You'd think the better matchups will already draw the fans who are on the fence, and with a bad team there's less chance of an uphappy ending.

But I don't think "motivation" has much to do with it. Not like the players don't care but now they will because of a ROH halftime ceremony that they won't even see.

They almost lost the Giants last week in Philly.

They absolutely can lose that game in New York.

Not as much “showmanship” in a game in which you are expected to dominate the opposition.

I havent looked at the times of the games but the starters will play as long as the outcome is still in doubt on the scoreboard.

Haven't they usually made sure that both teams contending for the division play at the same time? Maybe I'm not remembering correctly.

I like the Duece being active because he can be dangerous …but I don’t like him active to be the backup running back …he should be used as a scat back ala Darren Sproles ….we lose a lot of power with Dowdle not on the lineup .. Leupke will get the short yardage look in those situations.

That was one game during the Parcells era that really bothered me.

You had Parcells' boy Aaron Glenn getting beat while the whole time Roy Williams is saying fuck off, you didn't know the call.
