Cowboys Nostalgia Thread

Dude didn't leave his house for like two years because of Covid. He's gone full batshit crazy.
Incredibly, they're doing the show from Miami this week. Don't ask me how they convinced him to come out of the bunker.

Biden and the WHO said the pandemic was over, so he's safe now. :lol

Jerry called that game the most important they’ve played in years.

A road AFC game

This after winning the 1995 Superbowl

What a jealous idiot
He had to prove that Switzer could make his drunken proclamation right.

He needed Irvin though. We saw what happened after he retired.

Of course.

I actually posted that very game in this same thread last year and I mentioned how all of our big players showed up that day.

Maybe he needed Irvin, but still. When those guys were together they did things we still haven't seen since.

What a collection of winners.

So, so fucked up

That comment was the final nail that ended all my hopes we weren't being led by the truly incompetent and coasting from the momentum of the decade's first half.

I had naively held out hope that Jerry had learned something and was a legit partner the previous five-six years.

I still believed even after Switzer fizzled out.

Then…the Campo era made it all come to light.

Of course he needed Irvin. Just like all greats that have played together. Would Montana have been the same without Rice? Would have Young? Good players help each other. Of that there is no doubt.

Also the fact that by the time Irvin was out, Aikman was already in decline. His concussions and back dragging him down quickly.
