I love those uniforms and I wish we'd bring them back at least as a one-off like we have with other older uniforms.
I'm fond of that particular navy set because that's what we were wearing when we went back to back in 92 and 93.
I actually got that authentic Emmitt jersey as a birthday gift in 94.

I like them better than what we're wearing today.
The navy has gotten way too dark. It's more of a midnight blue at this point.

I'm with you - I'll always think teams go navy because it's more wearable as t-shirts etc for the general public - but are our current ones darker than these? The ones in that pic are pretty dark.

And I think part of it is the material too -- there's no sheen to our current jerseys.
Go back and google a photo from 2000 when we wearing the exact same navy uniform we're wearing today and you'll notice it's a little lighter.
I think part if it is the material being used now and the fact that it's got a more matte effect to it.

The 1994 throwback.
A lot of people confuse it for some of the other double star throwbacks we've worn and even the 94 double star we wore the rest of that season.
But that exact design was only used once and it was during the 75th anniversary week in 94 where every single team in the league wore a throwback.

A little but there is also the matte vs glossy look someone else was talking about. They could be pretty close but that makes it look further apart.
