MoC-ing.I don't know what you were doing but I hate the Mets pretty strongly.

Basically taking a dig at the Yanks for bbgun amusement.

That's the way to go.Thankfully my son has chosen not to follow this franchise.
Yeah he's being trying to throw Dak under the bus an awful lot. His go to excuse is Dak's salary. And Dak.
This isn’t your job. I’m not kidding. I’ll get someone else to post here.Yeah he's being trying to throw Dak under the bus an awful lot. His go to excuse is Dak's salary.
I just wish one of the reporters had the balls to fact check him on the spot and point out that Dak could've been signed for a cheaper salary if he didn't drag things out until the 11th hour.
Also, if he truly felt paying one player $60 million would prevent him from building out a solid roster, then why make the deal? No one put a gun to his head and forced him to give Dak that contract.
IMO, every time he takes a shot at Dak he's taking a shot at himself.
We might be growing upI will tell you boys this.
I used to plan my life around what this dumbass organization did. Vacations on bye weekends when possible.
But not anymore. I could miss an entire game and not give a shit.
I actually don't think he's throwing Dak under the bus when he says those things. I think he's throwing the coaching under the bus.Yeah he's being trying to throw Dak under the bus an awful lot. His go to excuse is Dak's salary.
The epitome of scapegoating.I actually don't think he's throwing Dak under the bus when he days those things. I think he's throwing the coaching under the bus.
In his pea brain, the player has already proven he's a top player and Jerry knows he's capable of excellence, otherwise he wouldn't have paid him. So I think he's blaming coaching to not get the player to play better.
I tried that with a couple of different teams during the depths of the Garrett era but couldn't do it.Texas Ace said:And if I got to the point where I just couldn't follow the Cowboys anymore, I wouldn't and couldn't cheer for another team.

I think it's because he - they - believe they're such amazing drafters that they can replace literally anyone with a cheap draft pick.Very very key point.
For a business man pretending like if you pay someone more they will perform better logically makes no sense. Just because Dak is the highest paid isn't going to suddenly make him the best player in the NFL.Very very key point.
If that's his line of thinking the dumbass should look about 500 miles north to Kansas City. Even the best QB in the game has been struggling to put points on the board with depleted skill position talent around him.I actually don't think he's throwing Dak under the bus when he says those things. I think he's throwing the coaching under the bus.

It only matters if you think the FO will spend the money or spend it wisely. They haven't shown the capacity of doing that yet.Back to simp's OP... Is there some plan here, even a misguided one? I haven't looked that deeply into our cap, but some have claimed that there's some cap to be cleared by punting on this year.. Is there any truth to that?
I don't see why it would be true and think it's just being cheap and all the other things we've talked about, but maybe I'm missing something.
I think the kind of shitstorm we've seen the last few days can shame them into spending more even if they don't really want to. Jerry bullying those radio guys really pushed a lot of people over the edge.It only matters if you think the FO will spend the money or spend it wisely. I just wonder if there's any truth that going cheap this year might help us in the future as they've claimed. I don't think there is, but just want to be sure.
