It's a great idea. Talent is way too diluted.
The talent is just underdeveloped.

Players are getting poor or at least specialized coaching in college.

The NFL really really needs a developmental league.

There are some areas that are really bad right now.

It used to be QBs. But now OLs coming out of school are mostly ill equipped.

I like the idea of a developmental league but could it be structured in a way that would make money?

also cuz of reduced practices and hitting drills.

I absolutely think it could. Just put developmental teams in cities that don't have NFL teams. And let NFL teams designate players there without losing years off their contracts. Pretty simple.

If the Texans weren't in the AFC South, they'd be a 5-11 team at best this season.

Eric Ogbogu is now UA's Director of Sports Marketing. His college teammate founded UA. Huh.

That whole division is a train wreck.

Texans, Titans, Colts and Jags.

Just wow.

I don't even think the Titans or Jags are equipped to win it.

It really amazing how bad that division has been for quite some time now.

Lots of people were high on the Titans coming into this season and I'm not sure why. I don't think they're really bad and they do have a few tools to work with, but I see them as an 8-8 team at best. That might be good enough to win that division when it's all said and done, but I don't consider them a "good" team by any means.

If the Texans had a QB, they'd be the clear favorites, but the lack of a proven QB combined with a bad O-line practically ensures that they too will hover around 8 wins at best.

Wasn't he their first official pitchman?

I remember he was doing all thos "We Must Protect This House!" commercials back when they were a new player in the sports apparel market.

If the Texans can just get a FG, this game is over.

The problem is that their offense is pretty damn bad as well.

3 man rush vs a rookie QB with a terrible line?

Penalty saved them from that dumb decision.
