That damn Dak was terrible yesterday, I tell ya.
I'd be shocked if Garrett actually called that, especially at that point in the game and that field position. More like they practice for certain looks and give the punter leeway to make the decision. But you'd think they'd give him some parameters like field position or talk to him before each punt to let him know if he is authorized to make that decision at that time. Huge play though, thwarted Raiders momentum and led to a TD.
Interesting. So, Jones did this on his own?
Most people, apparently besides Chris Collinsworth, knows it's situational and not always called from the sidelines.I knew it. I was calling this when it happened. This coaching staff doesn't have the balls to pull something like that.
This team badly need to dump Williams. Our offense really need to diversify and get a speedy #2. With Bryant, Witten, Beasley and emphasis on running game, we automatically shorten our own field

The tweet below your post perfectly illustrates your point. This team badly need to dump Williams. Our offense really need to diversify and get a speedy #2. With Bryant, Witten, Beasley and emphasis on running game, we automatically shorten our own field
Yeah I don’t understand the mentality that wants their team to lose toward an academic thought that they will have a better chance of getting better way down the road. That’s a pie in the sky approach coupled with a Super Bowl or bust mentality. It will keep you frustrated. Some of you people will never be happy, I swear to god. All teams sneak by with wins. We absolutely outplayed the Raiders last night. Sure we had a couple of lucky bounces go our way, but so did they. Dak did not play like shit no matter how many paragraphs you write about him. He played well enough to win. At least one of those INTs was one of their lucky bounces.
We won. Just let yourself be happy for 1 damn day. Reading this thread you would think we sucked monkey nuts last night. Good lord.
Man, watch Morris get blindsided at the end of that.
Drafting since 2010 has been much better, especially in the first round. Even though Byron Jones isn't panning out now he was legitimately projected as a late first that year. Taco was by all accounts a consensus late first rounder and I still have hopes for him even though he's off to a slow start. That leaves Mo who I never liked the idea of using our 1st and 2nd rounders to move up to get even though he was a consensus top 10 pick.Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do even better. But this team has a lot of talent compared to the average NFL team and it's a result of drafting.
Good lord.
And, to be fair, a TD and the longest-yardage PI in the league this year.
