My wife keeps watching these fucking British romantic dramas about Victorian royalty.

Normally she does it on her own time, but recently she has begun to watch these during dinner prep and even having on during times designated otherwise.

This is beyond Masterpiece Theatre stupidity. A bunch of Victorian horseshit.

She might be feeling a bit nostalgic and this stuff reminds her of those old evening soap operas/drama from the 1980s that centered around wealthy glamorous families. Dallas, Dynasty, Falcon Crest, Knots Landing, etc. Either way Booze has no way of measuring up.

Started watching "The Stand".

Just a few minutes into it and I doubt I can push forward with it.

Some of the casting choices are so so bad. Makes the 1994 mini-series seem like the greatest cast of all time.
