Yes. I am meeting with my friends that have also been vaccinated. We still use practical habits but it’s nice now to get out in the mainstream and do things that I used to take for granted.
Feels good to see optimism

Most of us here never stopped. We rented a beachhouse down at Galveston back at Labor day and had all the kids and grandkids down. Also had Thanksgiving and Christmas as normal, plus have a couple of the kids/grandkids over least 2-3 times a week for dinner
Same. We haven't changed much at all, outside of the fucking masks. But, even that, outside of work, I haven't been wearing one for 2 months now. I decided back then they would have to tell me to put it on for me to wear it inside anywhere.

Going out to local hangs all this time? I don’t mean family gatherings per se
Never stopped, unless the place was closed.

Nope. Only once have I even been asked to put one on, and that was at this little bakery in Arlington. Outside of that I don't even get side eye looks.

We went to a couple parties this weekend and it was great to see folks out and about.

The temps were in the 80s and it felt like everyone was coming out from a year-long hibernation.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer, but the story of this guy who came up with a K2 supplement called Koncentrated K makes me think. If you can stand a quick CSB, he's a very highly acclaimed and high-ranking engineer at a major US corporation who was a health nut and discovered in his mid 40s he had a serious hereditary artherosclerosis condition, to the point that his cardiologist told him to get a mistress and travel around the world because he'd be dead in less than a year. Being a classic engineering type mind, he studied like a maniac for many hours every day (he was so highly thought of in his company that they allowed him to do this on the clock) and he finally came up with a regimen that near-miraculously reduced his calcium score to safe levels.

Until one day when he had to go to Russia for work and got a mandatory MMR vaccine. Then his calcium score shot right back up to dangerous levels after years of it being down. He said nothing else changed so the shot had to be what caused it. He said he's not an anti-vaxxer, never had been, and didn't discourage anyone from any vaccine. But just by posting his story, he got attacked online by the usual maniacs.

I'm not an anti-vaxxer either, but this story from someone as conscientious, intelligent, and scientific as this guy makes me wonder. And that was an established vaccine, not a new mRNA one that was tested for less than a year. I have no desire to get the covid shot, but if I did it would be the J&J one for sure.

This is, indeed, a cool story, bro.

It’s the perfect screen to hide the improbable President from the world and keeping the wolves away from the door of all the Democrats that should have had indictments already. Governor Cuomo now serves as a whipping boy to view the others who are busy at trying to divert attention away from the past almost treasonous actions of the Democratic leadership. The lids are in place so it’s full speed ahead with the socialist agenda and the Republican leadership is happy they can be in a do nothing mode for a while because of their acquiesces toward the Justice department heads who now have full control of any prosecutions that is in mill.
