If you read Cousin's actual quote, Kelly is severely miscategorizing what Cousins is really saying. He didn't say he thinks he's in danger of dying. He's closer to saying the opposite in fact.

Yeah Cousins is a pretty smart guy, he knows he isn't going to die from the virus and I think he knows it is silly to sit out because of it. Now some of the players that opted out I'm not so sure that they weren't caving to the paranoia the media has created.

Why do you think the initial information about the virus was a torrential cascade of panic and paranoid oriented dialogue when at that point no once really knew the actual degree of danger? It was a foregone conclusion that this was the worst thing to come along since the bubonic plague. How can anyone make statements like that when in fact Little was actually known about it? It is so obvious that it was a shameless attempt to build a monster and then hammer the President for the way he handled it.

It's not a hoax but I think it is being used as a tool and a scare tactic. I definitely think it is being over blown. And in part because it's a tool for the Democrats. And they have all but said the Coronavirus is an opportunity to make change. Hell look no further than the way they try to add their stuff to the virus packages that the Republicans try to pass to help people.

I agree that the Democrats are using it, but some of you make it sound like it’s nothing but a hoax to get Trump out. Look at the international media and you’ll see this is a big deal and drastic measures were/are needed. The whole world is talking about a new normal, not just the evil socialist democrats and their media machine.

Because it was such an unknown and it was wrecking havoc all over? I’m guessing “initial Information “ to you is when outbreaks started in the US, at that time it had at least Italy and Spain in complete chaos.

The background for Italy and France were essentially the same. They had their first cases in January but really didn’t know what it was. The first deaths were in late February and it wasn’t defined enough to even be a pandemic but through some sources of the world intelligence systems it was being cautioned as a dangerous virus and approximately 2 weeks later travel to China was was halted by the US and the dialogue had already started about Trumps negligence even before any meaningful data was known about it.

My point was and is that at the very onset of this outbreak the political spin doctors were already building a boondoggle to beat Trump over the head with. They also with the assistance of the media created a frenzy of panic and paranoia with their propaganda of how lethal it was and would likely cause the death of possibly millions in the US alone without even knowing the actual threat to citizens.

I don’t think the virus was initially used just to create a Trump conspiracy. I say and believe the virus was a convenient tool used politically to create a Trump ouster attempt which is essentially a collusion to influence an election outcome.
