Hang in there bud.I need a break from it.
Im not in the bad areas thankfully. Its just that when it rains it causes problems for my job and I have to go in and babysit equipment. I know it doesnt sound too awful but storms happen at all hours of the night and with the rain that we have had in the last 2 months it makes it worse with each storm.@Rev
Living in Houston, we're very familiar with flash flooding and torrential rain.
Most of the time, they can see it coming and warn folks to be mindful of this if they're going to be on the road or out and about, but typically they just tell you to avoid being out altogether if you can.
But sometimes, that shit can just come out of nowhere and a storm ends up producing much more rain than they anticipated.
Was there any anticipation whatsoever that the rains could get like that out there yesterday?
Fuck. The Guadelupe River rose 26 feet in 45 mins according to officials.
That is pretty damn scary.
