Trump exposing corruption? That's funny.

And I said, let then tough guy go tell Putin how it's gonna be. I'll sign the petition for his NPP myself.
I mean with DOGE at least financially I think Trump is doing exactly that, more so than any President I can remember in all honesty. I really think you have no idea what Musk and those who are doing the work really are finding. I know you hate Trump, hell I hate Trump, but goddamn I'm glad to have something different going on at the top than the usual same old same old.

I'm sure that number is adjusted for inflation since 1948. Gimme a fucking break. :lol

Israel has gotten more tax payer money than any of us can possibly imagine.

Here is a good article that explains their importance, geopolitically, and why we need them.

Why does the US support Israel? A geopolitical analysis with economist Michael Hudson - Geopolitical Economy Report

We are benefitting directly from our alliance with them. We aren't getting shit from Ukraine.

Your Trump hate and Irv's Trump hate are on different levels. Like saying Michael Irvin and Jonathan Mingo are both NFL wide receivers.

That's clearly outdated since it doesn't list Ukraine but it sounds like they don't have recent numbers yet. Still, it makes me question the accuracy.

Countries That Receive the Most Foreign Aid From the U.S. | Best Countries | U.S. News

Ok, here's another one, but this one is missing the $17 bill we've sent Israel since Oct 7, 2023. The totals vary on Ukraine because, although we're sending the most, we're not sending all the aid. The main point of all this, is that we are getting something in return for our 75 years of investment in Israel-at a bargain price. We are not benefitting from what we are sending Ukraine, unless, of course, we get the minerals deal, which is a dubious proposition.

Last I heard (last week) is that the US has given Ukraine $122B. The $350B that Trump keeps saying is actually what the EU and US have given together, but I tend to believe he just made up the number because that’s what he does.

He probably did. Although when the treasury is writing checks that don't specify what they are for, I get why numbers are fungible with the federal government. It's a joke how little ability there is to track stuff.

Good grief. He tried to get a peace deal done. Do you want us to send troops there? I don't. The only other method to do it is by brokering a peace deal between two assholes. I get that you hate the guy, but at least be reasonable.

Right. It definitely looks like Zelenskyyyyyyyyy doesn't want peace or is at least highly resistant to it.

So either he can drag his stupid ass to the negotiating table and make peace or we can drag our American money right on out of there.

And he can shove his guarantees right up his gig hole. The truest guarantee is committing to American troops and no American should want that.

As the great Tommy Boy once said, "I can take a dump in a box and slap a guarantee on it. I've got spare time."

That's completely different situation and was explained earlier in this thread, I believe. And what we've sent Israel, even over the last year, still pales in comparison to what we've sent Ukraine.

We've spent - at least - three times as much money on Ukraine as we have in Israel over the past 4 years.

And, Israel at least is a bulwark against hostile terrorists that want to attack the west including the US.

I don't believe for a single second we're in any true direct danger from Russia even if we are somewhat antagonistic.

I don't want to send money to anyone. Period.

That would be nice but it's unrealistic. Without our support of Israel in the Middle East, things would be far worse for us, economically.

And what we've given Ukraine is a drop in the bucket compared to what Israel has sucked out of us since 1948.
And while you're at it, what has the United states contributed to NATO compared to everyone else?

A drop in the bucket? Do you even comprehend the amount we've shipped out to Ukraine these last few years?

Might want to refigure your math, Bipo.

I don’t want to send troops there, not one. But the bottom line is that Trump is too scared or unwilling to stand up to Putin in any way shape or form. Mr. Tough Guy my ass.
Again, why does he “have to stand up to Putin?”

Like, who gives a fuck? He’s not a threat to us.

He might be in the wrong here but he also has nukes and Ukraine doesn’t. Maybe after stealing hundreds of billions of dollars from us, Ukraine is the one who needs to be stood up to.

I already said I thought the performance in the Oval Office was unbecoming the other day, but the “bending to Putin” angle is so fucking retarded. Why should I give one literal shit that he doesn’t pull a tough guy act with Putin? Maybe it’s smart not to get antagonistic with another world power. None of the morons on the lefts including you ever bother to explain that part.

Maybe you've forgotten that Ukraine had pretty much bipartisan support until Putin's puppet got reelected. From that point on, many GOP members suddenly had amnesia about their statements regarding Russia's unprovoked invasion.

Funny how both Trump and Vance gave away the reasons they hammered Zelenskyy in the Oval Office... Vance had sand in his vagina still from when Zelenskyy "campaigned" for Harris in PA, and Trump of course, because it makes for great TV. Typical showman who cares about nothing but himself.
“Typical showman” isn’t a substantive argument that supports anything you are trying to argue.
