Oh, noes. The soft skinned crowd strikes again. Be consistent, gentlemen. In a world according to you, Elon Musk was also an “illegal”, so be sure to address him as such.

No he wasn't. You seem to be inflicted with the same idiotic confusion that leftists have about immigration.

"No, Elon Musk was not an illegal immigrant. He was born in South Africa and later moved to Canada on a legal visa in 1989, where he attended Queen's University. Subsequently, he moved to the United States, initially on a student visa to attend the University of Pennsylvania, and later became a U.S. citizen in 2002. All his moves were legally documented and compliant with immigration laws of the respective countries."

I stand corrected. Thank you.

Did he come to this country illegally? No? Then no matter how many times you say it, it just doesn't make it true.

Seeing that I only said it once and already posted that I stood corrected, you can fuck right off. But, thanks for playing.

They're the beneficiaries of the waste and fraud. Of course they don't want it to go away.
For the insiders, that is it. For the mindless drones, they've been programmed that every time you cut spending it's hurting some poor vulnerable person and you can't do it or you're attacking them and hate them.

They don't understand or choose to ignore the health of society as a whole and how everyone is suffering because of big spending.

They don't think it's a problem. Keynesianism is hardwired into their grey matter as always positive at this point.

It needs to be ripped up from the roots.

Where does cutting 300 from the agency that manages the nuclear stockpile, and then frantically trying to rehire them, fit into this?

Sometimes cutting too much too fast leads to bad outcomes.

Exactly right.

I especially love the argument that they trot out that these poor people are now out of jobs and they have FAMILIES!!11oneoneone1!!!

I have a family too, and it certainly isn't fair that a part of my paycheck pays for a bloated government with people in useless roles that don't advance the interests of most citizens one iota.

Just because these idiots majored in Lesbian Dance Gender Studies doesn't mean they're entitled to be supported by the American public.

Be a barista. Learn to code. Not my problem.

This is why it’s critical (on their part) to pay close attention to what they’re doing, where they’re making cuts, and why. Blindly hacking away at things is reckless and defeats the purpose of taking the very necessary steps to shrink the bloat in government.

Yea I don't really give a shit if they want to cut every single DEI whatever or reduce the ridiculous overall DoD spend, but you can't just be cutting random shit willy nilly all over the place without taking a beat to inspect what the heck it actually is.

It fits in somewhere better than over employing them to begin with.

Yup, I agree.... but it would be nice if the opposition wanted to work on this instead of obstruct and then they could have some input.

I agree, there is a purpose for a Federal Government. Although it is very limited in my opinion. But you can't just hack at it. Some things may need time for a transition as opposed to cutting off funding with no real plan in place. I don't know enough about the nuclear stockpile and the agency that monitors it to have any real opinion on this specific situation. But it's a bad look to chop employees and then change your mind.
