And they really didn’t pick up on the fact that they kinda barely eaked out an electoral college win against one of the most unpopular Presidents ever due to his own demeanor and an unprecedented (and probably unrepeatable at least to the same extent) assault on facts from mainstream journalism.

If they weren’t running against Trump who made it so easy to dislike him, there is no way they would have won in 2020.
