I don't think that's bulletin board material.

He said they're good enough to, not that they will or anything.
Yeah it sounds stupid, but what else can you say? I guess some form of "Well it will be tough, but we'll try.." I don't know. He's not my favorite but I don't necessarily think this is something to fault him for. There's plenty other stuff to not like.

I'd run at him even if I were getting blown out. Think it's pretty obvious that passing every down isn't going to help.

Hopefully they can figure out how to run the ball without giving their 35/year WR handoffs in the backfield.
In years past where Zeke is running for 3.2 ypc I sort of underestand needing to give handoffs to guys like Turpin and Lamb in the backfield. I really don't see the purpose though this season when Jevonte is averaging 5.3 ypc. If you're looking for a little more speed element just use fucking Blue. And if your argument is that Blue might miss a blitz pickup or something like that. Well my answer would be you sure as hell better not be lining Lamb up in the backfield to pick up a 240 pound blitzing LBer.

I might understand it if it's some sort of unconventional handoff. Like WR in motion take a handoff or whatever. But the play Lamb got hurt we literally had him lined up as a RB. Why in the world do you need to do that? Well the answer is you don't. We got fucking cute for no reason. The risk/reward just isn't there.

I kind of feel like we get blown out in this game no matter what. I get that a coach can't take that approach. But frankly I'd be really aggressive early hoping you can get lucky and get a lead. Then try to do that run at 11 stuff.

You can't play from behind. If we get behind it gets ugly, that's all there is to it.

I've always felt this idea that "We have to throw because we were behind" was mostly BS anyway. If you're down three TDs in the fourth quarter, sure. But if you're down 10 in the second quarter, that's no excuse to abandon the run.

Or it shouldn't be, but too often it is.

The kicker is it should be easier to run when teams are playing for the pass anyway.
