On the plus side, there have been some good things said about Richards. Sounds like he's good enough to stick.

Ball and Waletzko were always odd picks to me. Just these tall awkward looking guys to me. I didn't really understand either of those guys. But I do think it is challenging to find starting NFL OTs on day three of the draft. But we have also developed guys like Steele so I give them a bit of a pass. I also think we are really good at drafting day three corners. We have our misses but Bland was a homerun. Carson looks good. But then you have those blinking light misses like Wright. A guy that was super tall, awkward and just never looked like he would have the skills.Funny how we whiffed so hard on those 2 and the “experts “ say we are OL whisperers.
I guess even team employees are calling him that now...

Here's the thing... it's not the snap itself that he's struggling with, it's what comes next that's causing the problem. After snapping the ball he has to get his hand back up quick enough to keep the DT from getting into his chest and "trucking" him. Once that "secondary" motion becomes more natural, he can then focus more on getting the ball where it needs to be.
I really hope he pulls things together and can start opening week. Tomlinson will eat Hoffman’s lunch.
They are both injury prone. Is Nacua better than Cooper Kupp now?
It's good to hear on Tolbert. Sounds like he put a ton of work in this offseason. Dak basically holds practices at his house and Tolbert was the biggest attendee. I'm guessing he has a surprisingly good season this year. If nothing else I'm sure he has gained the QB's trust which is half the battle.
